HEIC to JPG Converter — Free & Online

iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, a format that Windows, many web forms, and older software still can't open. This tool decodes HEIC/HEIF photos and re-encodes them as standard JPG entirely on your device — no app to install, no file uploaded anywhere, and no limit on how many photos you convert. Drop in one photo or your whole camera roll export, adjust the JPEG quality if you want a smaller file, and download each converted photo the moment it's ready.

Frequently asked questions

Why can’t I open HEIC photos on my PC?
HEIC is the format iPhones save photos in by default since iOS 11. It’s efficient on storage, but Windows and many older apps and websites don’t support it without an extra codec install — converting to JPG sidesteps that entirely.
Will converting to JPG reduce photo quality?
A little, since JPG is a lossy format — but the quality slider defaults to 85, a level most people can’t visually tell apart from the original. Raise it if you want to be extra safe, at the cost of a larger file.
What happens with Live Photos or burst HEIC files?
A HEIC file can bundle multiple images (Live Photos, burst shots). This tool converts the first/primary image only — the motion or burst frames aren’t included in the JPG output.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Decoding and conversion both happen on your device in a background thread; your photos never leave your browser.
Can I convert multiple HEIC photos at once?
Yes — drop or select multiple files and each one converts independently with its own download button.
